About Georgioupoli

River1 River2

Georgioupoli is situated half way between Rethymnon and Chania. The once sleepy fishing village has been transformed into a popular holiday destination over the past 25 years, without losing its original charm and tranquillity. Old eucalyptus trees and the small river that flows into the sea, create a distinctive and unique ambiance in this charming village, which is also the ideal starting point for excursions into western Crete.
